Saw-tooth Wilderness; Lake Chelan/Moore Point to Stehekin,

 July 21-27 Green Trails Maps # 82/81

 

July 21:  Arrive aboard the Lady of the Lake to Moore Point (pack your lunch). We'll take a little hike up the hill to camp where you can fish "Fish Creek"- or you can enjoy the lake until dinner time.

July 22: We travel along Fish Creek 9 miles up the North Fork to Eagle Pass Junction, where we will camp at  elevation 5600 ft elev.

July 23: A lay-over day here for a relaxing jaunt over to Twin Springs and Tuck-a-way Lake, one of our favorite areas.

July 24: An 5 mile hike along the Summit Trail to Deep Hole Springs.

July 25: Lay-over to explore Triplett Lakes and the ridges above Lake Chelan.

July 26: We continue on the Summit Trail over Splawn Ridge, past Lake Juanita and on to Reynolds Camp at the head of Boulder Creek, a bit of up and down but a pleasant day along the summit.

July 27: Hike out to Stehekin for the fleet of feet in time to catch the boat or plan to spend the night in Stehekin.

Bridge Creek- Hidden Meadows-Stehekin along the Pacific Crest Trail, August 4-8, Green Trails Map #82

August 4: Arrive on the Lady of the Lake (pack your lunch), we'll drive to the end of road and hike into 3 miles into our camp at Bridge Creek.

August 5: We'll hike 9 miles up Pacific Crest Trail to Fireweed Camp. Great fishing and views along the way.

August 6: Today's hike is 7 miles past McAlester Lake, where you will want to stop and nosh and dip your feet. On up over McAlester Pass to our fantastic high meadow camp "Hidden Meadows" at 6500 ft elevation.

August 7: A lay-over day with lots of choices to visit the many nearby lakes and ridges.

August 8: Hike 11 miles down to Stehekin, plan to catch the Lady II out or stay in Stehekin.
