What do we need to bring?
All your camping equipment, food, clothing and hunting or fishing gear, including the proper licenses. You will also need to stop by the Golden West Visitors Center to obtain a National Park Service Camping permit.
What about meals?
You’ll want to bring food too. We recommend you double check any fire bans in place that might change your cooking plans. Plan a little extra to ensure you have enough to eat out in the woods and pack foods that will travel well (ex: apples or oranges travel better than peaches and bananas) Make sure eggs are well cushioned.
Where can we go?
Our rates are based on trips that are within a 10 mile radius from the valley floor. We are happy to accommodate longer trips so bring us your ideas and we’ll try to put something together for your group.
I’m Robust, is there a weight limit?
If you are riding, we have a 220 lb weight limit on our horses. Please talk to our staff if you are over this limit.
Can I cancel if I can’t make it?
Cancellation Policy: 25% of your payment is non-refundable. Cancellations made 21 days prior to arrival will receive 75% of deposit back and canceling within 21 days will forfeit entire deposit.
For hunters and hikers alike, this is a great way to get to camp. There are quite a few options of places we can take you so let us help brainstorm ideas of places to go. This is a great option for those who just want to carry a day pack but still have all their camping gear. You’re on your own for the time you designate to be in camp to hunt, hike, fish or explore before we come pick you up to pack you back out to Stehekin.
