Stehekin Outfitters is searching for an experienced horse person (known as a “wrangler” around here) to lead our daily guided trail rides and teach the young buckeroos around the corrals. Our trips last from a few hours to all day in the saddle and work days could include a mix of rides and lessons. Additionally, the horses are always hungry so we feed twice a day and ensure fresh water is available all the time. There are usually extra chores around the corrals (fence repair, general clean up, tack cleaning and repair, etc) and we host several campsites that will need servicing. Rustic housing is provided on site and opportunities for outdoor recreation are plentiful. Season starts just before Memorial Day Weekend and we’d love to keep you through the end of September.
